Chairs changing lives!

Today we head over to Haiti where our Wheelchair Distribution Coordinator and SCI Advocate, Mario, shares a word of thanks to our incredible local wheelchair distribution partners:
"We can say that the dream of helping more people with disabilities by providing them wheelchairs is still in progress.
In mid June, some of our wonderful partners received wheelchairs for their local community. Over 250 wheelchairs have been delivered from the HHA Walkabout Wheelchair Distribution Centre so far and they will continue to be freely given out to those with disabilities patients at their local rehab centres. Our delivery partners are located all around Haiti, including:
- Healing Hands for Haiti in Port au Prince
- Association D'aides des Techniciens en Physiothérapie in Cap Haitien
- Children of the Promise in Milot
- Clinique Medicale de la Rue Dorzin -CMD de Mirebalais in Mirebalais
- For You Haiti in La Gonave
These incredible organisations are all dedicated to provide rehabilitation care for adults and children with physical disabilities in Haïti.
An extra word of joy and thankfulness go to Walkabout Foundation, Free Wheelchair Mission and Konbit Sante: Cap-Haitien Health Partnership who have enabled these distributions to happen.
